2. Aluminum busbars are light in weight, low in price, and second only to copper in electrical conductivity. However, if the connection has the following fatal weaknesses:


①The aluminum surface is easy to oxidize, and the contact resistance will increase on the overlapping surface and heat, or even burn.


② The material is soft and the creep speed is fast. After tightening for a long time, it is easy to loosen, and it will heat or even burn due to poor contact.


For the above reasons, after the aluminum row is energized for a long period of time, the surface contact resistance gradually increases, which is prone to decay in electrical properties and even lose electrical conductivity.
